Finding your Sun sign is easy because it only requires your birth date. Finding your Moon sign requires your exact birth time and location because the Moon changes signs every 2.25 days. If you were born near a Moon sign transition, even a one-hour error in your birth time could place the Moon in the wrong sign.

The simplest way to find your Moon sign is to generate a Vedic birth chart. Your chart will show the Moon's position by sign, house, degree, and Nakshatra. The sign is your Moon sign (Rashi). The Nakshatra gives you even more granular insight into your emotional personality.

Once you know your Moon sign, try reading your Vedic horoscope from the Moon sign instead of your Sun sign. If you have been reading Aries horoscopes because of your Western Sun sign but your Vedic Moon sign is Pisces, switch to reading Pisces predictions.
